CROWN POINT | A Hammond man faces drug-related charges after officers found in his house a teenage girl who had been reported missing.
Michael A. Locke, 23, was charged Friday with maintaining a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. According to court records, Locke bailed out of the Lake County Jail on Monday.
Hammond officers went to Locke’s apartment Feb. 19 at 31 Elizabeth St. after learning a missing teen was at the home, according to the affidavit. Taylor LeVan, 15, was reported missing Feb. 9 and had last been seen at the Wal-Mart located on 165th Street in Hammond.
