Sonora Police Department officers arrested a man and woman Sunday who had syringes full of drugs and stolen gold bars. About 10:35 a.m. officers responded to the 300 block of Fairview Lane for a vehicle parked in an unauthorized area. Stone could spend 3 years behind bars after plea deal

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —The man accused of selling drugs to a 14-year-old girl who later overdosed was in court Monday.

Eric Stone was arrested back in 2013 as part of a police investigation following the death of Hanna Bruch.

Police said Bruch and two friends purchased drugs, and took them before attending a foam party at Expo New Mexico. Bruch collapsed during the party and later died.

On Monday, Stone agreed to a plea deal. He pleaded guilty to one count of attempted distribution of a controlled substance to a minor.

Stone’s attorney said Stone never admitted to selling drugs to the teens, and his client has been cooperative with police throughout the entire process.
