A 6-month-old Jacksonville boy died Wednesday, a day after his 65-year-old baby sitter was initially charged with aggravated child abuse and now murder, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Barbara Kay Kendrick called 911 about 2:15 p.m. Tuesday after first going to a neighbor for help because Cooper Dubovik had stopped breathing, police said.
