Suicide note girl, 15, wrote to classmates after being ‘bullied and gang raped’

Cassidy Traven, from Melbourne in Australia, was 15 when she took her own life after she was bullied relentlessly by a group of girls at her school.

Her distraught mum claims Cassidy was lured to a house party by the bullies and set up to be raped by two teenage boys.

Now a letter Cassidy wrote to her classmates urging them to stop bullying has emerged.

The letter, discovered on her laptop by mum Linda, says: “My name is Cassidy Trevan, and I was raped.

“If anyone every tries this on you trust me it’s worth fighting! Fight! If you don’t you’ll regret it for the rest of your life like I do.

TAFE Queensland hacked: Cyber ransom note revealed

The Palaszczuk Government faced pressure in Parliament yesterday over when it first knew about theSECURITY breach. The hacker tapped into inquiries and feedback data submitted through the TAFE site, but it is not known what type of data was obtained or over what period of time. Opposition education spokesman Tim Mander called for full and frank disclosure of how many people’s information had been accessed and what type of information had been leaked. However Education Minister Kate Jones and Minister for Training and Skills Yvette D’Ath refused to answer questions forSECURITY reasons. “This was a criminal act. This matter is now with the police,” Ms Jones told State Parliament. “I will not act against the advice of the Queensland police and the chief information officer and release information that may jeopardise theirINVESTIGATIONS into the crime … to do otherwise would be reckless.” Ms D’Ath said the Government was confident noFINANCIAL details or student records had been accessed in theBREACH, with the matter referred to the chief information officer, Queensland police and the Australian Federal Police. “This cyber-crime against TAFE Queensland and the Department of Education and Training was immediately reported to authorities,” she said. “As this matter is the subject of […]

Suspected Mississippi school shooter left ‘sorry’ note

At some point during the intense daylong manhunt to apprehend him, Shannon Lamb spoke with police and told them he wasn’t going to go to jail.

When officers finally caught up to him late Monday, he made good on his threat, police said: He pulled out a gun and killed himself.

Lamb was the suspect in two killings: that of Ethan Schmidt, who was shot in the head in his office on the campus of Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi, and of Amy Prentiss, who was found shot to death at a home in Gautier, a coastal city about 300 miles away from the university.
