Local man faces time in jail for child porn production

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – A Dansville man will be facing at least 15 years behind bars when he is sentenced after he pleaded guilty for the production of child porn Wednesday.

Police say Ryan C. Lander, a 28-year-old Dansville native, coerced a minor between July in 2011 and March in 2013 to engage in sexually explicit acts, during which he took pictures. He then produced the images using a computer program.

When he’s sentenced on May 14, he faces between 15 and 30 years of prison, and a potential fine of up to $250,000.
