Speaking with Bloomberg, Trump was asked to give an insight of “who Donald Trump is as a man” and how he will make Americans “feel safe” and “proud” as Bush had 9/11 and President Obama did after December 2012 Sandy Hook school shooting in Connecticut.

“I think I have a bigger heart than all of them. I think I’m much more competent than all of them. When you talk about George Bush, I mean —say what you want — the World Trade Center came down during his time.

Whanganui residents have criticised the actions of a police officers who shot dead a cow causing chaos in the streets of of the city this morning.

“It was dangerous for the police to be shooting with kids walking to school grab,” said another Whanganui resident.

However, the Royal New Zealand SPCA says police were within their rights to take down the cow in the interests of public safety.

Ric Odom, CEO of the RNZSPCA, says the officer made a quick decision when dealing with the runaway cow and was not able to wait for animal control to arrive.

Mr Odom says the fact the cow was shot multiple times is something the RNZSPCA would be concerned about but under these circumstances it appears the officer made the right decision for public safety.

NYPD Roles Out Shot Spotter Pilot Program In Areas Of Bronx, Brooklyn

Source: National Cyber Security – Produced By Gregory Evans

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — Mayor Bill de Blasio announced a new high-tech pilot program that will help the NYPD determine where shots are fired, even if no one calls 911. The technology is called Shot Spotter and it works like a GPS triangulation system, using antennas and coordinates to identify the location and direction the gunfire comes from, 1010 WINS’ Juliet Papa reported. NYPD spokesman Steve Davis said the information is relayed to the real time crime center in police headquarters, which will then be able to disseminate the location to police officers in the field. Davis said the Shot Spotter is designed to address shootings and resulting fatalities, both of which are on the rise this year compared to last year. The technology will also help get police to the scene of shootings faster than ever before. The pilot program was set up in 7 Bronx precincts and 10 Brooklyn precincts that have seen an uptick in gun violence. As 1010 WINS’ Carol D’Auria reported, the NYPD actually expects the number of shootings in the city to go up. Based on statistics in other cities where it’s already in use, 75 percent of shootings that occur are not reported to 911. Jesse Tisch, the […]
